A 16 Channel Relay Card is an electronic module that contains 16 individual relays, each of which can be independently controlled. These cards are commonly used in automation, home control systems, and industrial applications to switch multiple electrical devices (like lights, fans, motors, etc.) using low-voltage digital signals.

• 16 Relays: Each can switch AC or DC loads independently.

• Relay Type: Usually SPDT or SPST relays.

• Control Voltage: 5V, 12V, or 24V (depending on model).

• Trigger Logic: Active HIGH or Active LOW (configurable).

• Isolation: Opto-isolators for protecting the control circuit from high voltage.

• Load Ratings:

  • AC: ~250V at 10A

  • DC: ~30V at 10A

• Interface:

  • Pin headers (for microcontroller like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc.)

  • Screw terminals (for connecting output devices)

1. Input Side (Control):

   • Connect to a microcontroller GPIOs.

   • Supply voltage (e.g., 5V) and GND.

   • Use digital signals to turn relays ON or OFF.

2. Output Side (Relay terminals):

   • COM (Common)

   • NO (Normally Open)

   • NC (Normally Closed)

Each relay acts like a switch, connecting COM to NO when activated.
